Visa Requirements
VISA REQUIREMENTS
TOURIST (VISITOR VISA SUB CLASS - 600)
Ø Please Note: -Passports are submitted & Collected through VFS
Ø Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports (if any)
Please note
a) A good quality photocopy of the biodata page and any endorsement pages or change of name in the current Passport
b) For current Indian passports a good quality photocopy of the back page with information on parent’s name and previous passports. The passport photocopies do not need to be certified
Ø Australia Visa Application Form: Form 48R to be duly filled and signed by the applicant.
Ø Family Form: Form M-67 to be duly filled and signed by the applicant
Ø Authorization Form: Form 956 to be duly filled and signed by the applicant to authorize Ziyarat e Haramain Travel (P) Ltd to submit and collect documents on behalf of applicant.
Ø Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old , scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
Ø Covering-Letter: Covering Letter from applicant stating his name, designation, purpose and duration of visit and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Australian High Commission, New Delhi. If the applicant is running his own Business, he should provide the Covering Letter on his company letterhead.
Ø Invitation Letter : If visiting relatives or friends, a letter of invitation from the relative or friend in Australia.
a) Proof of legal status of the host in Australia (Passport and Visa Copies).
b) If relative or friend is paying for the visit then their financials need to be attached (Bank Statement for last 3 months)
c) Residence Proof
d) Employment Proof
Ø Airline Reservation: Ticket Itinerary ,Tour itinerary and tour confirmation.
Ø Hotel Booking: Hotel Confirmation.

c) Personal Bank Statement for last six months mentioning the Bank’s name, Bank’s Telephone Number clearly

If Employed
a) Copy of Academic certificates
b) Copy of Appointment Letter which should contain the date of Joining, Designation and the Salary drawn.
c) Previous working history
Individuals / Children (Minor) traveling alone
(Note : For children (under 18 years of age) who intend to travel to Australia, and whose stay in Australia will not be in the company of either or both of his or her parents or guardians)
a) Form 1229
b) Consent/No Objection letter
c) Passport copies or Election card copies of both parents to confirm signatures.
d) Parents proof of financial solvency and proof of occupation with their IT returns in detail.
Ø Applicant above 75 years
a) Medical (Travel) insurance
b) An ‘Aged Visitor Health Check’ completed by a DIAC appointed panel doctor if above 75 years.
Note: If intending more than 3 months stay or visiting a hospital for any reason DIAC will request:- a chest X-ray

Note: The Visa Application fee & service charges are non refundable as decision of granting or refusing the visa’s is on the discretion of Embassy.
BUSINESS -Temporary Business Entry (Temporary Work Visa- subclass 400)
This visa allows business people to make a short business visit to Australia for up to three (3) months during your visa validity period. Business activities may include a conference, negotiation or exploratory business visit.
This visa is available to all passport holders who want to visit Australia for business purposes. No sponsorship is required.
This visa has replaced the work entitlements of the earlier categories as below:
· Business (Short Stay) visa (subclass 456)
· Sponsored Business Visitor (Short Stay) visa (subclass 459)
· Electronic Travel Authority (Business Entrant-Short Validity) (subclass 977)
· Electronic Travel Authority (Business Entrant-Long Validity) (subclass 956)
· eVisitor visa (subclass 651).
If you already hold one of the above visas, it will still be valid until the date you were given when it was granted.
Ø Applicants have to submit Notarized copy of all pages of current passport, including the bio data page, alterations page and back page of the passport (unless requested to send original passport). (Please note, VFS Global can certify a copy of your passport at their office at the time of Submission).
Ø A completed application form (Form 1400) for a Temporary Work (Short Stay Activity) visa.
Ø For anyone included in the application who is 18 years of age or older and is not your partner: Form 47A Details of child or other dependent family member aged 18 years or over.
Ø If you want to bring a child younger than 18 years of age with you to Australia, and that child's other parent is not included in the application: documentary evidence that you have the legal right to include that child in your application, such as:
o certified copies of official legal documents, such as a court-issued custody, access or guardianship order
o a statutory declaration giving their permission.
o Form 1229 Consent form to grant an Australian visa to a child under the age of 18 years. If you use this form, you will have to attach a certified copy of the other parent's government issued identification document (such as a passport or driver's licence) with their photograph and a signature. (You must also provide one of these documents if you are applying for this visa and you are younger than 18 years of age and you are travelling without one or both parents or guardians).
Ø If your partner is included in the application: a copy of your marriage certificate or independent evidence that you are in a de facto relationship (for example, joint bank account statements or billing accounts in joint names).
Ø Complete this section only if you are lodging a paper application:
o If someone gives you advice or lodges your application for you: Form 956 Advice by a migration agent/exempt person of providing immigration assistance (the agent or exempt person completes the form and you must sign it)
o If you would like someone to receive correspondence from the department on your behalf: Form 956A Appointment or withdrawal of an authorized recipient (the recipient completes the form and you must sign it)
Ø One recent passport sized photograph (45 mm x 35 mm) of each person attached to the front application form.
o These photographs should be of the head and shoulders only against a plain background
o Print the name of the person on the back of each photograph.
Ø Certified copies of birth certificates for you and any other person included in the application. The certificates must show the names of both parents of everyone included in the application.
Ø Participating in a cultural or social event
o Letter of invitation from the inviting organization in Australia that includes the event name, the dates of the event, your role or duties, and the role of the inviting organization in the event.
o If you are applying as an amateur sports participant or assisting an amateur participant or team: your invitation to the event including this information.
Ø Doing highly specialized work
o You must show details of the position, the duration of the work, your role or duties and the reason you are required in Australia or
o If you are doing freelance work: a copy of your proposed itinerary covering the above points.
o If you are applying to work on an entertainment industry production: evidence that the production will not be shown in Australia, such as a distribution contract.
Ø Aus AID student or recipient: A letter of support from the Aus AID Minister.
Ø Health and Police Clearance Certificate can be asked by the High Commission.
Ø Proof of Funds:
o You should provide evidence of sufficient funds (bank statements, letter from financial institution concerning your financial position etc).
Ø Educational or professional qualifications Certificates.
Ø Your current employment and your role during your visit to Australia.
Ø Provide the details of previous contacts with Australian business people or organizations in Australia.
Ø Pay the visa application charge, or provide the following documents to show that you do not need to pay the charge:
o For an amateur sports participant or assisting an amateur participant or team: your invitation to the event, stating this information
o To act as a representative of a foreign government: a letter from your ministry or government.
o If you are in a class of people participating in an activity specified in a legislative instrument: evidence from the inviting organization that you are in that class of people.
Applicants must provide certified copies of original documents. Do not include original documents unless specifically requested by the department. Documents not in English must be accompanied by accredited English translations.

b) Authorization Form: Form 956 to be duly filled and signed by the applicant to authorize Ziyarat e Haramain Travel (P) Ltd to submit and collect documents on applicant's behalf
Ø Photo Specification: Two recent passport size coloured photograph with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, plain background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old , scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas. (You can use the same photograph which you have used to get destination visa)
Ø Covering Letter: Covering letter from applicant on company’s letter head stating his name, designation, purpose and duration of visit duly signed by authorized signatory and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Australian High Commission, New Delhi
Ø Ticket : Confirmed ticket reservation with all flights confirmed proving the transit port of entry is Australia
Ø Financials: The Embassy may ask for financial documents (Case Specific)
a) Bank Statements for last six months
b) ITR for last 3 years
c) Business / Employment proof
