TOURIST VISA FOR FINLAND

 

 Passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the intended duration of stay in the destined country

 One Visa Application Form to be filled completely and signed by the applicant

 Two recent color photographs, 35x45 mm in size with white background

 Covering letter from the applicant stating the purpose and duration of stay (Letter should be addressed to the VISA Officer, Embassy of Finland)

 If the applicant is employed, he/she should attach a letter from the employer stating the nature of employment, duration of the leave of absence as well a valid employment ID.

 Students should present a valid student ID and letter of enrolment at a University of institute of learning

 Proof of airline reservation e.g. reservation slip. Please note that the date of travel should not be beyond 12 working days from the date of application

 Overseas travel medical insurance valid for all Schengen countries with a minimum coverage of 30000 Euro. The insurance should cover 15 additional days after the intended duration of stay in Schengen Area

 A no objection letter from the current employer

 Proof of accommodation: hotel reservation including the name and phone number of hotel

 If visiting friends or relatives, the original sponsorship or invitation letter along with the nature of relationship must be mentioned. Passport, Visa and ID copies from sponsor in Finland would be required along with the last six month bank statements (in case they are paying the cost)

 Proof of sufficient funds

 Bank statement for last 6 months including address and telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name & address with stamp and signature of bank

 Income tax returns for last 3 year

 3 months salary slips

 If you are self employed: registration of the company/ partnership deed/

Memorandum of Article (MOA) is required

 Two copies of passport first and last page to be submitted

 Visa fee is payable through Demand Draft made in favor of Embassy of Finland

 Personal Presence is required for the applicants who have never travelled to USA, UK, CANADA, AUSTRALIA and any Schengen Country

 Old passport in original required

 Date in the Covering letter, Invitation Letter, Ticket, Insurance and hotel should strictly match, any discrepancy in date may lead to non-submission of documents and may take unnecessary time

 Authority Letter- If an applicant is not in a position to submit and collect his/her application in person, under such circumstances it is mandatory

that their representative /agent should produce an authority letter

 Applicants should not purchase their tickets before their visa is approved where proof of tickets issued is not listed in the checklist as a mandatory document to be provided with the application.

Neither the Consulate nor Ziyarat e Haramain Travel (P) Ltd takes any responsibility for any ticket purchased by the applicant without a visa being issued.

 

NOTE:

 

 A short stay Schengen visa can be allowed to enter and stay in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 consecutive days or 90 nonconsecutive days (several trips) out of a period of 180 days, from the date of the first entry in the Schengen area.

 Applicant has to come personally for submission as applicant is first time traveller to Schengen country.

 

BUSINESS VISA FOR FINLAND

 

 Passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended duration of stay in the destined country.

 One Visa Application Form to be filled completely and signed by the applicant, taken within past 6 months.

 Two recent color photographs, 35x45 mm in size with white background

 Covering letter from the applicant stating the purpose and duration of stay. (Letter to be addressed to the VISA Officer, Embassy of Finland)

 Original Invitation letter from the company of Finland Organization. The invitation letter should state the contact information (name of the contact person, phone number and address), purpose and date of travel. In case the business partner or organization needs to invite the applicant for several trips in the future, this information must be specified in the invitation letter.

 Letter from the employer stating the nature of employment as well a valid employment ID.

 Proof of airline reservation for a return trip e.g. reservation slip. The travel date should be 13 working days minimum after the submission of the visa application

 Overseas travel medical insurance valid for all Schengen countries with a minimum coverage of 30000 Euro. The insurance must cover the 15 additional days after the intended stay in the Schengen Area

 If you are self employed: registration of the company/ partnership deed/ Memorandum of Article (MOA) is required
