Visa Requirements
Location: France is bound by Belgium and Luxembourg along the northeast; Germany, Switzerland, and Italy along the east; Spain and Andorra towards the southwest.
Climate: The climate of France is generally cool during winters and mild during summers. Along the Mediterranean, the winters are mild and summers are hot.

VISA Information: There is One Embassy located in Delhi and two consulates located in Pondecherry and Mumbai. Consulate Pondecherry accepts the visa application from Tamilnadu and Kerala whereas Mumbai consulate accepts the visa applications from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Unioin Territories of Daman and Diu, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Visa applications from rest of the states are accepted by Embassy of France, Delhi. Main visa categories are: Business, Tourist, Transit and work permit (Work permit applications accepted by Embassy only)
FRANCE TOURIST VISA- (New Delhi)
Passport should be valid for at least three months after the expiry of the visa. Passport must not be older than 10 years
One Visa Application Form to be filled completely and with 2 signatures by the applicant. Attach photo to visa application form.Please note column 37 should be signed
Covering letter from the applicant stating the purpose and duration of stay (Letter to be addressed to the VISA Officer, France Embassy.
Two recent color photographs, 35x45 mm in size with white background. Insurance Undertaking Form to be filled in completely and signed by the applicant (those who are travelling for the first time)
Proof of airline reservation e.g. return trip or reservation slip
A no objection certificate from the current employer
Employment letter from the current employer
Overseas medical insurance valid for the country with the minimum coverage of 30000 Euro. The insurance has to cover all risk e.g. accident, illness e.t.c.The policy must be clearly specify the period of validity and has to cover the date of arrival and departure and has to be submitted in original along with photocopy
Proof of accommodation: hotel reservation including the name and phone number of hotel. If staying with a relative then Copy of confirmed attestation d’accueil* (Proof of Accommodation) with invitation letter in original is required
Copy of itinerary (for those going on tour)
Proof of airline reservation: copy of confirmed ticket or PNR booking.
Proof of sufficient funds
Bank statement for last 3 months including address and telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name & address with stamp and signature of bank. Bank statement of the passenger & company should be printed in back to back pages
Last 1 month company bank statement (optional)
Income tax returns for last 3 years & Last 3 Years company ITR copies (optional)
3 months salary slips
If you are self employed: registration of the company/ partnership deed/ Memorandum of Article (MOA) is required
Two copies of passport first and last page to be submitted. In case of minor
A no objection certificate should be produced by parents in case minor is traveling alone. NOC should be signed by both parents A minor traveling with one of the parents, the other parent should issue a NOC
Authority Letter- If an applicant is not in a position to submit and collect his/her application in person, under such circumstances it is mandatory that their representative /agent should produce an authority letter. There should be two separate letters for the submission and collection
Date in the Covering letter, Invitation Letter, Ticket, Insurance and hotel should strictly match, any discrepancy in date may lead to nonsubmission of documents and may take unnecessary time
Attestation d’accueil (Proof of Accommodation): Applicant’s host in France can obtain this document at the Town Hall of his/her residence, by showing a proof of identity and two proofs of residence (lease and phone bill, utility bill, etc.) This document must be mailed to the applicant and then presented to the visa officer at the time that submission of a visa for France.
Original old passport is required
Applicants should not purchase their tickets before their visa is approved where proof of tickets issued is not listed in the checklist as a mandatory document to be provided with the application. Neither the Consulate nor Ziyarat e Haramain Travel (P) Ltd takes any responsibility for any ticket purchased by the applicant without a visa being issued .
Minors, if traveling with None of the parents, Original notarized NOC are required from both parents in the form of an affidavit on a stamp paper and a copy of their government photo ID. NOTE:
A short stay Schengen visa can be allowed to enter and stay in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 consecutive days or 90 nonconsecutive days (several trips) out of a period of 180 days, from the date of the first entry in the Schengen area.
As per instructions from the respective consulates, visa applications for France cannot be accepted with passports having any written observations concerning Passport number, Surname, Given name, Nationality, Sex, Date of birth, Place of birth, Place of issue, Date of issue, Date of expiry.
Only passports with no observations can be presented. Passport must be machine readable.
Handwritten passports cannot be accepted.
BUSINESS VISA-FRANCE (Delhi)
Passport should be valid for at least 6 months after the expiry of the visa. Passport must not be older than 10 years & photocopy of Passport photo page and address page
Copies of Valid and Expired visas for all Schengen countries, The united kingdom, The united state of America must also be shown.
One Visa Application Form to be filled completely and with 2 signatures by the applicant. Attach photo to visa application form
All applicants must mention their mobile number on the visa application form and sign column No 37

Invitation letter from the French Company with the Name of the contact person, Telephone number, Email address & Indicating the trip dates

All applicants should mention their personal mobile / or Landline telephone numbers on the visa application form. If the file is presented by Travel agent, It should also state the telephone numbers of relevant Travel agent.
