The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran"- New Delhi does not issue a tourist visa.

 

BUSINESS VISA

 

Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports (if any)

Iran Visa Application Form : One visa application form duly filled and signed.

Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, with white background.

Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas

Covering-Letter: Covering Letter from applicant on company’s letter head stating his name, designation, purpose and duration of visit duly signed by authorized signatory and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, New Delhi

Invitation Letter: Invitation Letter from Ministry of Interior, Tehran stating Visa Reference No. or else the Letter of Invitation (Application Performa has to be obtained from the Ministry of Tehran) from Iranian company should come directly to the Embassy and a copy to us.

Ticket : Confirmed Air Ticket

Medical: Medical to be done by authorized Hospital issued by the Embassy.

Please Note: Indian Nationals can avail of Iran visas on arrival for a week at the airport for a fee of $70. The following documents should be carried by the passengers: BUSINESS CATEGORY : Passport/ invite letter from inviting company / hotel confirmation / confirmed air tickets. TOURIST CATEGORY : Passport / hotel confirmation / confirmed air tickets.

Please Note: Medical certificates for travel to Iran can be issued from any reputed doctor in India, preferably from a well-known hospital. The certificate must clearly mention the contact details of the hospital/doctor, as the Embassy can call and verify the certificate.
