ITALY Visa requirements

 

TOURIST VISA FOR ITALY – DELHI

 

 Passport should be valid for at least three months from the date of expiry of the visa. Passport should be issued within the previous 10 years. It is Mandatory to have face to face blank pages in the passport to submit an application

 

 One Visa Application Form (printed back to back) to be filled completely and signed by the applicant

 

 Two stamp sized photographs, with white background

 

 Covering letters required the applicant stating the purpose and duration of stay. The letter should be addressed to The Visa Officer, Delhi

 

 A no objection certificate from the current employer (if employed)  Travel Itinerary with travel dates.

 

 Proof of airline reservation for a return trip e.g. reservation slip

 

 Proof of accommodation: Hotel reservation including the name and phone number of hotel

 

 Original Overseas medical insurance valid for the country with the minimum coverage of 30000 Euro. The insurance has to cover all risk e.g. accident, illness e.t.c. The policy must be clearly specify the period of validity and has to cover the date of arrival and departure and has to be submitted in original along with photocopy. If the insurance is issued online, then it should bear the stamp of the issuing company.  In case of Group tour / package tour: Payment receipt is required along with Forex receipt

 

 Proof of sufficient fund

 

 Updated Bank statement for last 6 months including address and telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name & address with stamp and signature of bank

 

 Income tax returns for last 3 year

 

 3 Months Salary Slips.  If you are self employed: registration of the company/ partnership deed/ Memorandum of Article (MOA) is required

 

 Photocopies of all the observations in the passport

 

 In case the applicant is being sponsored from the person staying in Italy, a Sponsorship Letter, attested copy of Sponsor’s stay permit, and attested copy of sponsor’s passport is required. Bank Guarantee from sponsor is also required

 

 Visa fee is payable through Demand Draft in favor of “VFS A/C Italy Visa” payable at Delhi

 

 Applicants should not purchase their tickets before their visa is approved where proof of tickets issued is not listed in the checklist as a mandatory document to be provided with the application. Neither the Consulate nor Ziyarat e Haramain Travel (P) Ltd takes any responsibility for any ticket purchased by the applicant without a visa being issued.

 

 For Minors : - In case of Minor travelling with any one parent or with a third party: Affidavit from the parent/s stating that he/she has no objection to the travel of the minor. The affidavit has to be notarized and legalized by the competent Home Department of the State of Residence OR On application submission day both the parents have to visit VFS with minor and give declaration & both parents have to sign the declaration letter. - In case of Minor traveling with both the parents: Affidavit of consent is not required, provided that the names of both parents appear on the said minor's passport.

 

NOTE: A short stay Schengen visa can be allowed to enter and stay in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 consecutive days or 90 nonconsecutive days (several trips) out of a period of 180 days, from the date of the first entry in the Schengen area. As per instructions from the respective consulates, visa applications for Italy cannot be accepted with passports having any written observations concerning Passport number, Surname, Given name, Nationality, Sex, Date of birth, Place of birth, Place of issue, Date of issue, Date of expiry. Only passports with no observations can be presented. Passport must be machine readable. Handwritten passports cannot be accepted.

Business Visa

 

Please Note: Applications are submitted & collected through VFS.

 

Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum three months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamps.

a) Copy of pages of passport containing personal information.

Please note

a) Passports issued beyond 10 years will not be accepted by the Embassy

b) Attach all your old passports (if any)

Schengen Visa Application Form : One visa application form duly filled and signed on column 37 and 38

Please note : Applicant mobile number should be mentioned in visa form as Embassy / Consulate can contact the applicant at any point of time during visa processing

Photo Specification: Two recent passport size coloured photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas

Covering-Letter : Original Covering Letter from applicant on company’s letter head stating his name, designation, purpose and duration of the visit, duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of Italy, New Delhi.

Invitation Letter:

Letter of invitation from Italian company, in Italian, signed by the authorized person, along with photocopy of the pages of his/her picture id (passaporto o carta d’identita) contanining relevant data, signature and validity of the document.

Financials

a) Personal ITR for the last 3 yrs

b) Personal Bank Statement for last six months mentioning the Bank’s name, Bank’s Telephone Number clearly

c) Salary slip for the last three months

d) Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveler’s Cheque

Proof of Occupation

a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation

b) Brief Company Profile

c) Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director)

d) Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm)

e) Import / Export License (IEC Number) (if applicable)

Proof of Accommodation - Hotel booking if not included in the invitation letter.

Please note: Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be in Italy.

Medical : Original Medical Insurance for the stay duration amounting to 30,000 Euros
