Visa Requirements

TOURIST
The Applicant should have a valid passport (photocopy of the identification pages).
Visa form should be filled online on the website http://www.rop.gov.om and the print out should be enclosed with the documents.
One physical visa form is to be completed at the Embassy.
Two recent passport-size photographs.
A Covering Letter from the Applicant, stating the reason of travel.
If Applicant is visiting family or relatives a Letter of Invitation from the Host is required.
Confirmed onward/return air ticket.
Hotel Confirmation from Muscat.
Applications are referred to Oman and approval can take 4 to 5 working days.
BUSINESS VISA FOR OMAN
 
 Passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of submission of the visa application
 
 One Visa Application Forms to be filled completely and signed by the applicant
 
 Two recent color photographs, 35x45 mm in size with white background.
 
 Covering letter from the applicant stating the purpose and duration of stay
 
 Original Invitation Letter required from Oman Company, it should be directly faxed to the Embassy of Oman in India
 
 Proof of airline reservation for a return trip e.g. reservation slip.(only paper ticket accepted
 
 Proof of sufficient funds
 
 Bank statement for last 3 months including address and telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name & address with stamp and signature of bank
 
 Income tax returns for last 3 year
 
 3 months salary slips.
 
 If you are self employed: registration of the company/ partnership deed/ Memorandum of Article (MOA) is required
 
 Two copies of passport first and last page to be submitted
 
 Personal presence is mandatory
 
 Visa is referred to Oman for approval from Immigration Department
 
 If the traveller is holding a visa clearance from Immigration Department from Oman (arranged by sponsor) then visa can be issued ON ARRIVAL as well.
