Note : - Effective April 1 2017, Indians with a visa of minimum six months' validity of US, Canada, Schengen countries, UK or Australia will not need a visa to enter Peru.
Visa Requirements
TOURIST VISA
Passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of submission of the visa application
Two Visa Application Forms to be filled completely and signed by the applicant
Three recent color photographs, 35 x 45mm in size with white background
Covering letters required the applicant stating the purpose and duration of stay
Proof of airline reservation (original) for a return trip e.g. reservation slip
Proof of accommodation: hotel reservation including the name and phone number of hotel
Day to day tour itinerary
Foreign Exchange endorsement on the passport or the copy of the statement of the credit card
Proof of sufficient fund
Bank statement for last 6 months including address, telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name, address with stamp & signature of bank
Income tax returns for last 3 years, it should be notarized from local notary public
3 months salary slips
Pan Card copy of the applicant
If you are self employed: registration of the company/ partnership deed/ Memorandum of Article (MOA) is required In the case of sponsored trips the Sponsor in Peru or India should be equally accredited for his/ her financial status, employment and his/her source of income. Alternately, the sponsor should present a written affidavit duly signed and certified by the notary stating his/ her responsibility for the boarding and lodging of the Applicant. The Sponsor should also take responsibility for the repatriation of the traveler if he/ she acquires an illegal status or does not have sufficient funds to return
Photocopies/ facsimile copies of the documents would not be accepted in any case.
Others who are also exempted from visa include holders of valid visa of USA, UK, Canada, Australia or Schengen countries, with a validity of at least six months (excluding transit visas), and those who are permanent residents, accredited with the document of permit (Green Card) in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia or Schengen space countries.
BUSINESS VISA
Passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of submission of the visa application
Two Visa Application Forms to be filled completely and signed by the applicant and thumb impression is also required on both the forms
Three recent color photographs, 35 x 45mm in size with white background
Covering letter from the employer stating the purpose and duration of stay
Proof of Airline Reservation for a round trip e.g. reservation slip
A letter of Guarantee from the business associates in Peru in Spanish language attested by a Notary Public in Peru. It should also be e-mailed to consular@embassyperuindia.in
Company’s profile and proof of registration
Recommendation letter from Indian chamber of commerce
Credit card copy along with the statement
Proof of sufficient funds
Bank statement for last 6 months including address, telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name, address with stamp & signature of bank.(for both applicant and employer) Income tax returns for last 3 years, it should be notarized from local notary public
