TOURIST VISA FOR ROMANIA

 

 Applicant needs to fill an online visa application form on the website http://evisa.mae.ro/home and also has to upload all the other documents in it and in the end print out should be taken and has to be carried along with the other documents during submission.

 Passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of submission of visa application

 Two recent color photographs, 35 x 45mm in size with white background

 Covering letter from the applicant stating his name, purpose and duration of visit (as per the Covering letter format)

 Leave letter from the employer in India

 Proof of airline reservation for a return trip e.g. reservation slip

 Ticket itinerary showing travel after 15 days from date of submission

 Proof of accommodation: hotel reservation including the name and phone number of hotel

 If visiting friend or relative: Invitation letter should be sent by the invitee, which should be notarized by the notary public in Romania

 Please note the invitation letter should be attested from the Ministry of External Affairs, Romania

 Original Overseas medical insurance for minimum period of stay with proper stamp and signature

 Proof of sufficient funds

 Original Bank statement for last 3 months including address and telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name, address with stamp & signature of bank.

 The minimum balance should be approximately INR 80,000. Kindly note that if the balance is less than 80,000/- then the foreign exchange

endorsement with receipt will be required or if balance is less than 80 K then applicant has to provide 75 EURO bill per day as per stay.

 Foreign exchange receipt and endorsement on the passport of the applicant or copy of the international credit card

 If you are self employed: registration of the company/ partnership deed/ Memorandum of Article (MOA) is required

 Two copies of passport first and last page to be submitted

 Authority letter-If an applicant is not in a position to submit his/her application in person, under such circumstances it is mandatory that their representative/agent should produce a authority letter

 An authority letter mentioning the name and passport no of the applicant is required from the Travel Agent (Thomas Cook) authorizing the representative for submission and collection of the passport

 Applicants should not purchase their tickets before their visa is approved where proof of tickets issued is not listed in the checklist as a mandatory document to be provided with the application. Neither the Consulate nor Ziyarat e Haramain takes any responsibility for any ticket purchased by the applicant without a visa being issued

 Applicant has to provide all old passports along with the current passport for visa processing.

NOTE: A short stay Schengen visa can be allowed to enter and stay in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 consecutive days or 90 non-consecutive days (several trips) out of a period of 180 days, from the date of the first entry in the Schengen area.

If Schengen visa is valid applicant can take on arrival visa.

 

BUSINESS VISA FOR ROMANIA

 

 Applicant needs to fill an online visa application form on the website http://evisa.mae.ro/home and also has to upload all the other documents in it and in the end print out should be taken and has to be carried along with the other documents during submission.

 Original passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of submission of visa application

 Two recent color photographs, 35x45 mm in white background with 80% face coverage

 Covering Letter on company's letter head stating his name, designation, purpose and duration of visit.(Letter to be addressed to the VISA Officer & as per the Covering letter format)

 Proof of Airline Reservation e.g. reservation slip

 Ticket itinerary showing travel after 15 days from date of submission

 An Invitation Letter (addressed to the VISA officer)clearly mentioning that the host company will bear all the expenses of the stay including repatriation of the remains

 Please note the invitation letter should be attested from the Ministry of External Affairs, Romania

 A recommendation letter from the Chamber of Commerce or Assocham is also required. (optional)

 If the applicant is a frequent traveler then an invitation from the Romanian counterpart should be faxed directly to the Embassy, a copy of the same to be attached along with the application

 Proof of accommodation: hotel reservation including the name and phone number of hotel

 Proof of Sufficient Funds-

 Original Bank statement for last 3 months including address and telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name, address with stamp & signature of bank
